Oh alright, I got it. What time are you guys leaving in the morning?

I'm leaving my house to get them at 6:30, then we're gonna get some sandwiches from the deli and head over there. It should only take about an hour drive so we'll probably be there really early.

Damn you and your changing log title. There are old people on this board, how do you think they're going to find it now? *doesn't like change*

Very pretty burpee time.

Thank ya. Hopefully all of this extra stuff like burpees I'm doing will help me not be a little fat goomba

Tuesday 5/27

Got like 4 hours of sleep last night. Woke up at 4am and couldn't go back to sleep for some reason even though I didn't have to be at work till 7. Then I fell asleep like 45 mins sitting in this chair before my workout.

very little warm ups

front squats
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 3
265 x 1
295 x 1
295 x 1
295 x 1
-called it there. Didn't feel like working out and I was still very tired, groggy, and grumpy and they all felt like a million pounds and very uncomfortable.

Few light sets of close stance back squats up to 275 x 5 I believe.

Keg carries
160 x 100 feet
200 x 100 feet
160 x 50 feet + load over 50"
160 x 50 feet + load over 50"
200 x 50 feet + load over 50"
200 x 5 to 50"
200 x 5 to 50"
200 x 50 feet then loaded, 160 x 50 feet then loaded (no rest)

Chins
+45 x 3
+25 x 5
+25 x 5
bw x 7.99999999999999999999999

First really hot/humid day of the summer. It looked like I jumped in a pool with all my clothes on.

Friday 5/30

started warming up, then in the middle of warming up I realized that I had 20 minutes to get to the bank to deposit my last 4 paychecks or else I would have been screwed.

Yoke
270 x 80 feet
360 x 80 feet
450 x 80 feet
540 x 80 feet - belt. felt really crappy and hurt a lot
590 x 80 feet - belt. felt crappy and hurt a lot again but that's a PR
500 x 150ish feet. I've done 450 for like 175 feet but that was with a belt, so I'm happy with this.
-I dunno why they hurt so much and felt so crappy today. All 5 sets with 540 I did a couple weeks ago were much faster and felt better than every set today. Maybe I'm very weird and am better without a belt?

Farmer picks/holds
185 per hand x 3
225 per hand x 3
275 per hand x 3
315 per hand x 1 + hold for a whopping 7 seconds (belt) PR pick with these handles
275 per hand x 1 + hold for 26.something seconds

Stones
260 x 5 squats
260 x shouldered..... very easy PR
260 x shouldered 3 times, missed 4th cuz the tape slipped off
260 x 10 squats
-The tape wasn't sticking to my arms at all because I was so sweaty which was annoying.

165lbs Andy friggen did farmer holds with 275 per hand and held them for 24 seconds. Unbelievable. It makes me realize how bad I am at farmer holds considering I can pick up so much more than he can. That or he is just a freak.

I'm leaving in about 5 hours to drive down to Florida. Won't be back till next sunday. I'm taking my gym bag down with me in hopes of finding a decent gym to lift at a couple of times so I don't miss 9 or 10 days of training only 6 weeks out from hudson valley. I wish I would be able to hit events next friday but oh well. A couple days in the gym is better than nothing.

Sunday 6/8

Ended up not even looking for a gym to train at while I was in Florida, so the last time I trained was last friday. Oh well. I was gonna wait till tomorrow to workout but I was getting itchy to so I went outside to hit the axle and some other stuff, only ended up doing the axle though.

warm up

Axle (all reps double overhand and no belt)
110 x 10, 5
160 x 5
180 x 5
210 x 5
250 x very hard clean and then had no energy for the press so I missed badly
230 x 3
210 x 3
210 x 4 (clean each rep) in 58 seconds. I would have had another one but the collars flew off after the first rep and I had to get them and then put a couple more on each side for the rest and it killed some time.

Thats it, took about 45 minutes. I felt dizzy and naseous the whole time for some reason, and I was soaked and wearing a very thin shirt, so it was hard to clean the axle today. I actually missed cleaning 250 first because my shirt was so wet, then got it on the second try. I'm going to have to bring like 8 shirts to Hudson Valley since I have been sweating so much lately. I guess that's what happens when this is the first summer where I'm this heavy in years. I was like 160-upper 170s for the last at least 3 summers and I'm low 190s now. I hate that I am so small/short that I have to use the word "heavy" when I'm not even 200lbs...

Monday 6/9

warm up

back squats (couple inches below parallel, touch and go off a box to make sure I was getting to where I wanted to be)
135 x 5
185 x 5
235 x 5
275 x 5
315 x 3
add belt
335 x 3
365 x 3 (easy PR)
325 x 5.... paused the first one by accident and it screwed me up a little
-Had more in me. Using a box to judge depth was awkward because my negatives were so slow.

Medley
285 duck walk x 30 feet, 200 keg carry x 30 feet
285 duck walk x 30 feet, 200 keg carry x 30 feet
285 duck walk x 30 feet, 285 duck walk x 30 feet, 200 keg carry x 60 feet (39 seconds)

Shrugs (double overhand, did for grip work)
225 x 15
245 x 10
265 x 10

Not used to working out in this heat. Kept getting lightheaded and dizzy again. Thankfully the heatwave is gonna break and it's gonna be in the 70s by saturday.
