Yesterdy did 3, 5 minute rounds on the stairmaster (resistance level 8). It wasn't too hard.

No need for a spotter on deadlift. I dont even know how that would be accomplished. If you arent going to be able to complete a rep, just drop the weight.

Fuck fuck fuck. Im gonna be an asshole, I've read too much ignorance here. This may have already been covered, but Im gonna re-cover it...probably rudely.
Ok.
1) Get your motherfucking ass in a MMA gym immediately.
This whole "Im gonna conditioning my self first and lose weight" thing is fucking stupid. Nothing will get you in shape for MMA quite like MMA. You can't fight without training. MMA is a very unique workout. Get in the gym.
2) Develope the upper arms and calves for explosiveness? WTF??? Dude. Punching power is all about technique. It comes from the balls of the feet, through the legs, through the hips, through the core, then through 'upper arms'. It's a kinetic chain, a full body movement. Most of the power comes from the hips and core.
3) Get off the machine circuit immediately. IMMEDIATELY. It's not doing much at all for you. READ THE FAQ. Do the 5x5. YOU HAVE TO Squat, Bench/SOHP, and DL. It's a must. Machine circuits suck cock.
4) Get off the stair master. Running will be fine for you right now. You don't seem to be the most in shape cat around, so build a base by doing LSD work. Don't know what LSD is? Go to the conditioning forum and read the FAQ. Thats what its there for.
5) Eat super clean. Go to D&S, read their FAQ. Also, google "John Berardi's 7 habits". Drink 1 gallon of water a day.
6) You don't need a spotter on DL, just drop it.
I may sound like a dick head, but if you truly wanna be a fighter then you are gonna have to pick up the pace and get smart. I also wanna have a ammy fight this year, and I've trained off and on for 14 months, have some solid S&C, etc. You are just gonna end up delaying your debut if you go into this thing uneducated. If me and you fought each other in our debut, and you are still doing a machine circuit, using the stair master, and still trying to develope those upper arms and calves for teh mega punching power, then Im gonna rip your head off and shit down your neck.

Seriously, I know some people are going to encourage me and some aren't. I can list plenty of reasons I'm going to get killed when I finally make my debut, I don't need anyone to list them for me.

Well, my happiness depends on your weight/rep scheme and your choice of assistance lifts.
