I remember hitting my 190kg Deadlit PR. I remember it because that was the closest I came to passing out at the gym. I was blind when the bar was at my knees. Finished the rep, dropped the bar, and sat down heavy. Took me 10-12 minutes before I was confident enough to stand up again.

Same thing happens to me on heavy skwots and DL's. It's not a good feeling.

Doesn't usually happen to me on squats. I go red a lot, but I don't feel like I'm going to pass out. I didn't even notice the popped blood vessel until someone pointed it out to me.

Looks like you have found your true 1rm. I usually leave a little in the tank on squat maxes - I don't feel confident in the spotters or a rack that is not bolted to the floor.

Great PR - Was it with the Inzer?

I was in a rack that was bolted to the ground and had massive 2x4 sized steel pins. I knew it could hold if I failed.

Yeah, I used my belt. Ill edit that it.

The rack at my gym is not bolted down. I tried to do speed deads with bands last week and the rack fell over (I got out of the way). The pins (or whatever they are) can hold a lot of weight, but if I miss with a squat with over 455, the rack is falling over.

Nice job, Alan. I approve of the new log title as well.
I nearly passed out walking 475 out on the powerrack this weekend. I quarter squatted it, started to lose vision, and decided to abort the attempt. Sounds like I should have went for it.
