Wednesday 10/10

Bench Press- 145x12, 155x12, 160x12, 155x12, 145x12
Dips- BWx5, BWx5, BWx4 (failed 4th rep)
Board Press- 135x10, 140x8, 145x6

Holy hell today was tough. I don't know why but it put a beating on me. I'm getting better at dips, and within 2-3 months I'm hoping to be able to add weights to them. First time doing board presses, and as easy as they look, they definitely are not easy lol.

Next week I'll be going for 225x5 (I'll even take 3 reps, I just can't get past 2). Also did about 15 minutes of HIIT before my friend got to the gym, and messed with the slosh pipe when I got home. Good workout today, Saturday is overhead or front squats as an assistance, I'm not sure which one yet. What do you guys think I should do, over head or front, or even both?

good job on surviving!

I believe you can get away with doing both front squats and ohs. do front squats first. if i had to pick between them though, i usually go OHS as i dont feel they beat my body up as much since i cant handle much weight. (around the 130's)

Yea, I'm leaning towards OHS because has a really weak core (and mine's not too great either, and could use some extra work). But, I've never done FS and would like to try them, so maybe I can do both. I love box squats so much though..

Saturday 10/13

Squats- 250x5, 265x5, 275x5, 295x2, 315x2
Front Squats- 135x5, 145x5, 155x5
Overhead squats- 115x5, 125x5, 140x2
Heavy turkish getups- 30lb dumbbellx5 (each arm), 50lb dumbbell x3 (each arm)

First time doing front squats today, and they hurt my wrists a little bit, I guess I have to work on my flexibility a little bit. The 2 reps on the OHS (PR by the way ) weren't that hard, so next week maybe I'll go for 155. That thread about the getups made me try them out, damn they are tougher than they look! I thought my friend was going to pass out hahaha what a sight to see that would have been.

Got my foam roller in the mail the other day. Only thing I'm REALLY pissed about is that I didn't get the fucking thing earlier! It's incredible for recovery time. I had a really good week at the gym this week, and that shit just makes me happy as hell.

Did some slosh pipe work yesterday as well, figured I'd post it in here since I forgot to post it yesterday. I was really sore afterwards, and felt a little this morning as well.

Snatch- 95x5, 115x5, 135x2
BOR- 155x5, 155x5, 135x5

I did snatches for the first time ever today and have a video, so tips, critique and criticism are all encouraged because I need to know if I'm even doing them right. (The video is sideways lol, I didn't realize my friend filmed it wrong, sorry )

I'm hurting right now, but anyway, here is my PR clean video and my snatch video....

Snatch- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lwiot87ltC8

Touche! Can I edit the title or is my stupidity going to be implemented here forever? Spelling was never my thing.

Also, some body critique my form on those lifts, even though they're sideways

A tip for powercleans: You'll find it easier if you stand on the floor instead of the wall.
