Friday 10/11 Sheiko #37 Week 1 Day 3

Squats
190x5 (50%)
225x4x2 (60%)
265x3x2 (70%)
285x3x3 (75%)

All I had time for today. I was fighting off a hangover all morning and didn't get to the gym until 2:30 and I had work at 4. Even though I felt like shit everything was good and fast and my form was spot on. I had been falling forward the past few times squatting on a rep or two each time, but it didn't happen once today.

Next week will be a better week training wise. This week was a little hectic.

Good luck with Sheiko 37. I'm going to start my last week on Monday. I'm kind of ambivalent towards it. There was a lot of volume, maybe a little too much for me. I think i should've started with the 29 instead, but oh well.

Monday 10/13 Sheiko #37 Week 2 Day 1

Squats
190x5 (50%)
225x4 (60%)
265x3x2 (70%)
300x2x5 (80%)

Bench Press (pause unless otherwise noted)
130x5 (50%) (TnG)
155x4 (60%) (TnG)
185x3x2 (70%)
210x2x6 (80%)

Squats
205x3 (55%)
245x3 (65%)
285x3x4 (75%)

Kroc Rows (weight is per arm)
55x20x2 (These kill me)

Great day, the squats felt strong and fast. The bench was slightly weird because the bench was a little slippery so I couldn't get a good arch, but it still was pretty easy.

My Rehband sleeves are the tits, they are just so god damn comfortable.

I like Sheiko a lot, just sometimes it can take too long because I like to rest too much between sets. The volume doesn't really bother me the day after, but while I'm lifting that gets me the most. I'll go back to a p/p/s routine after this cycle.

I'm going to be getting Sheikey wit it soon.

I'll give 37 a go because Donut says that 40 would kill me.

I'm a fuckin' volume-lovin' motherfucker.

You will love this then. You'll look at the spreadsheet and go 'how does everyone complain about this shit, I do this basically every session!'. Then you'll realize you're wrong, or at least I did.

Yeah, that's what I'm expecting.

Looks easy, but I know it's not.

If it ever gets too easy just keep bumping your maxes up until you hit that sweet spot. Always better to shoot a little under, because once you hit that overtraining point you waste a lot of time recuperating.
