Wednesday 8/6 Sheiko #29 Week 1 day 2
Deadlift up to knees
245x3 (50%)
285x3x2 (60%)
335x3x2 (70%)
365x3x2 (75%)
Incline Bench
135x6x4
Dips
BWx5x5
Rackpulls (starting at the middle of the knee)
265x4 (55%)
315x4 (65%)
355x4x2 (75%)
405x3x4 (85%)
Weighted decline sit ups
+45x10x3
I took out the last 2 sets of the deadliftfs to the knees because I didn't like them at all. They felt awkward to me for some reason and the stopping right in the middle of the lift was hurting my lower back. If this is just to train the lower half of the deadlift, I may just sub in deficit deads or just do full pulls, I'm not sure yet.
I took out the lunges because I had no time, and I either had to do the lunges or ab work, so I went with ab work. I'm not as tired as I thought I'd be today, although my hamstrings/groin are hurting pretty good.

I feel good at the end of the week, last time I tried Sheiko I could barely move at the end of the week. The seated GMs were tough but I liked them.
Squats all felt very good, I can feel my glutes and hamstrings actually doing work while squatting now.

I left off push ups and GMs since I was short on time, I need to get to the gym earlier if I'm going to be doing Sheiko since it takes longer. Ate a good amount today so I feel pretty damn good. I'll probably be leaving off a few accessory lifts here and there this week, I am working 7 days and am not happy about it, which leads me to being more tired/worn down and having less time.

Looking good, looking good. You've made it twice as far this time! Haha. Deads to knees suck monkey nuts. I've had success in the past replacing them beltless deficit deadlifts with 10% reduced loading. They hurt my back, too. I think are more useful for a sumo puller.

I was considering switching them with deficit deads, but later on I believe in week 3, you do deficit deads. I don't know, I might switch it still, I find my form becoming shit and lifting with all back when doing the lift to the knees, so I don't know. I need to figure it out by tomorrow, but I'm working 11 hours today so I'll have some time to think about it.

Wednesday 8/13 Sheiko #29, Week 2 Day 2
Deadlifts to knees
240x3 (50%)
285x3 (60%)
335x3x2 (70%)
360x2x4 (75%)
Pause Bench Press
120x6 (50%)
145x6x2 (60%)
160x6x4 (65%)
DB Flies
25'sx10x5
Rackpulls (3rd hole in cage, bar at middle of the knee)
265x4 (55%)
315x4 (65%)
355x4x2 (75%)
380x4x2 (80%)
Done for today. I had to leave off the last 2 sets of rackpulls and lunges because I had to get to work. I still hate the deadlift to the knees, it's just awkward.
I got yelled at today for lifting with no shoes on, I asked why and the douche told me 'it's not proper gym attire'. I was arguing with him but it wasn't going anywhere, so I just gave up. I'm sure I'll have my shoes off next Wednesday when I deadlift again. If not, I may have to buy wrestling shoes, because I tried to pull in my basketball shoes after and it was weird.
God, I hate my fucking gym. Fuck any of you who lift at the great facilities, or the pieces of shit hole in the walls with no rules and just people with big numbers. I need a new gym.

I love my new wrestling shoes for pulling. It basically feels like you're barefoot, and you've only got about 1/16" of rubber between your feet and the ground.

I have not pulled in mine yet but i love them for everything else, you get great footing and no realy compression when lifting. For $50 bucks or less their also a pretty damn good value.

I've never even wore a wrestling shoe, but carrying around another size 15 shoe in my gym bag is just going to take up more space which will piss me off. I'm going to attempt to go no shoes next week and if he gives me shit I'll order wrasslin' shoes.
I've never seen the guy though, so hopefully he is never there really.

Screw that noise. My lifts are gay enough, I need all the help I can get. They didn't give me shit about the chalk though, which shocked me to shit.

Is that all they cost? I assumed they'd be more expensive, I don't know why. What's a decent website to buy wrestling shoes at?
