People who weigh 225 pounds and haven't run in years look even stupider jogging, so I figured the bike was the winner.

It came up so fast I lost my balance and had to shuffle around a bit. I could easily see getting 50 pounds out of them.

Where did you get them from? I got 2m wraps from APT, the convicts I believe, and have yet to try them. Now I'm curious to try them.

7/22/08 - Tuesday - Sheiko #37 Week 3 Day 2

Deadlift to Knees:
275x4
330x4
385x4x2
413x4x4

Bench:
175x6
205x5
240x4x2
255x3x2
275x2x2
255x3x2
240x4
225x5
205x6
185x7
175x8

Deadlift from Boxes (2" below knee):
330x5
385x5x2
441x4x4

Lunges:
132x5+5x5

Hanging Leg Raise:
BWx10x3

For lack of a better idea, I decided today to follow the full Sheiko deadlifting prescription. I tried the deadlifts to knees in the warm ups, and they felt much more comfortable than earlier this year (probably a function of my greatly improved start position) so I ran with them. Everything went great. The bench press, however, on the 185 set of the down ladder, I tweaked my fucking pec again. I got pissed and did the 175 set which just made matters worse and it feels inflamed right now. This problem is getting real fucking annoying. Perhaps Boris Sheiko was on to something with the dumbell flyes in every workout that I have been skipping. So I will start doing them.

I have the ****l Triple Lines. The Convicts are at least twice as stiff, judging by my Convict wrist wraps versus my ****l ones. The knee wraps will give a huge boost in your squat if you crank them down, but it's not something I would use regularly in training unless you plan to compete in gear.

7/23/08 - Wednesday - Recovery

Jump Rope: 15 min (5 x 3 min round)
Pushups: BWx100 (various sets)
Squats: BWx100 (various sets)

Didn't make it to the damn gym again for my recovery workout. My fucking shoulders and calves were burning so bad in the jump rope, it was a mess.

The hell you will. Your end squat has to be geared the same as your beginning squat. I understand the fear that is being evoked by the progress within my camp, but it does not justify your cheater ways.

Trust, me, the last two rounds of jump roping were anything but awesome. I forgot how hard that was and don't miss doing it every goddamn day.
