Nice graph! And great idea graphing it out like that. I'd like to see such graphs in others' logs (including my own) showing progress.

BTW, how did you tear your rectus femoris?

Squatting. Here's how my January has gone so far:

Day 1. 5 pound increase in Squat

Next two workouts: Stuck

Next two weeks: deload, build back up to working weight

Next workout: Injury.

Next two weeks: Rehab.

Now: New injury.

That means no DLing/Cleaning/Squatting / cool stuff.

Been rehabbing my other leg. Today is Day 4 of Rehab, which I'll do later. Since my last update:

Bench hit 162x5x3

Press on Monday was 122 for 5 / 5 / 4, but i felt good, and upped the weight to 125 for Friday. On Friday, again, I was 5 / 5/ 4, so I will repeat 125 on Tuesday.

Tomorrow I will go for 165 x 5 x 3 on the bench.

Pulls went up. 12 / 10 / 10 on Wednesday. When I get to 15 / 15 / 15 I will add weight.

God I miss squatting and deadlifting and cleaning.

Day 5 of Squat rehab 65 / 75 / 85 for 25 reps.

Bench 165. 5 / 5 / 4. Fucking last set sucked. Repeat.

Chins: 12 / 10 / 10. That's a +3 increase in total numbers. Next time I'll go for 13 / 10 / 10.

Squat Rehab Days 6 / 7 progressed per usual.

Today, Squat Rehab (D7)

Press 125 5 / 5 / 5 yay. next: 127.

Pulls: 12 / 11 / 10 yay. (+1 cumulative)

Light back extensions 10 with 25 / 35 / 45

2/13: Sq. Rehab D. 8

2/14: Sq Rehab Day 9
Bench 165 5 / 5 / 5. Pretty easy. I think I missed 165 last time because I was in my Vibram 5's, instead of my weightlifting shoes. next: 167.

Chins: 13 / 10 / 9. Pretty good. Next time, 13 / 10 / 10 would be nice.

2/15: sq rehab D10 (yay, last day of 25 rep squats). Completed with 135 on my final set.

2/16: My birthday. Will work out today...squat rehab, heavy presses, and pulls.

So the 'ol birthday workout sucked hard. My left shoulder hurts pretty bad when I lift anything overhead, and I have a terrible tendency to drive my elbows under and even behind the bar. So I need to let my shoulder rest and work on this...so I'll sub wednesday's press workout with a bench press.

Sunday was just rehab...

Monday: Final day of rehab. Squat 195 for 5 / 5 / 5 (205 next)

Bench 167 (5 / 5 / 5) (170 next)

Pulls 13 / 11 / 10 (good. +1. Next I would like to do 13 / 11 / 11)

Squat: 205 5/ 5/ 5. easy. (215) next time.

Bench 170 4 / 3/ 2. WTF? fucking WTF? Two problems - 1) I just benched on Monday . Made the mistake of thinking I could do it today, as a sub for presses. 2) I had a spotter. go away, spotter. I'll rest benching on Friday, perhaps do overhead pressing instead.

Power Cleans: 160 3/ 3/ 3/ 3/ 3. Pretty good. I haven't done cleans for almost 2 months and this is like, only 2 pounds under my PR. yay. (162) next time.

Squat 215 5 / 5 / 5. Sort of hard, but my warm-ups were bad, so I may be having an off day, or I've just deconditioned a shitload... anyways, 220 next time.

Bench 170 5 / 5 / 5. (172) next time. Excellent. No spotter = success.

Deadlift 285 1 set of 5. Good. Pretty easy. First deadlifting since my injury. 295 next time, which ties my PR.

Chins: 13 / 10. Only did two sets.

All in all, a good session. My traps are terribly sore after cleans the other day.

Squat 220 5/ 5/ 5/ Ok. some slow ones (in fact I almost failed) but I felt this wasn't "high intensity," and my mindset wasn't terribly focused. (225) next time.

Press: 127. I'm having some trouble with this, and I posted a thread about it.

Power clean: 165 3 / 3 / 3 / 3 / 3. (PR). 3 pound PR. First "lower body" PR for a long time. Yay! (167) next time.
