Flat Bench 185X5/175X5/165X5/155X5/145X5 (4125lbs)
Military Press 135X4/115X5/110X5/105X5/95X5 (2665lbs)
Apparently I can’t add, because I went down too much weight on the 2nd set of the military press. Oh well, that’s alright. My shoulder is still a little freakin’ sore. It’s starting to piss me off.
Dips 3X8
Used two chairs facing away from each other and it worked out ok. The backs of the chairs are squared off, though, so they dug into my hands, but not too bad. It’ll have to do.
Cable push-downs 3X10

7:45 am
3 eggs
2 pieces of whole wheat toast
½ cup of cottage cheese
Multi-vitamin
3 pills MSM/Glucosamine
1 pill Omega 3 complex
2 caspules BCAA

I hate not having a spotter. I feel like I'm not going as heavy as I may be aboe to if I just had someone there and knew that if I did have trouble that I wouldn't freakin' get crushed! Like, next week I wanted to try starting out with 210 or 215, but I am very hesitant. Oh well, I guess I'll figure something out.

10:00 am
Protein Shake
1½ cups of milk
5 Frozen Strawberries
1 heaping Scoop of protein powder
1 tbsp cane sugar

12:45 pm
10oz sirloin steak
Bowlof chicken noodle soup
Real mashed potatoes
Mixed veggies

2:45 pm
14oz 1% milk

6:25 pm
Handful of peanuts

7:15 pm
Pot Roast with carrots, onions and potatoes
Bowl of spinach
2 garlic and cheese biscuits
12oz glass of milk
3 pills MSM/Glucosamine
1 pill Omega 3 complex

8:45 pm
Fruit smoothie (gotta' get some fruit somehow!)

By the way, may I ask how much mass did you gain in your attempts to do so?

Keep up the good work, bro. Having no spotter sucks, but you can work around it.

I actually was checking it out real quick this morning, but couldn't for too long, 'cause I got sent on the road out to Gloversville, NY. Thanks for the complement, though. I'll check it out, again, when I do have more time. I've never had an injury that I had to rehab from, so I hope that everything so far is going well!

As far as the mass, I gained roughly 15lbs, which was right about where I wanted it. Probably about 10 or so pounds of lean muscle. Now, I need to step up my cardio a little bit, because this summer I plan on starting BJJ and from what I've heard it can be brutal.

Deadlifts
I did a little warm-up and started a with a 10 rep set at 135lbs.
220lbs 5X5
I decided to do some bodyweight chin-ups today, just for kicks.

Stiff-legged DL 165lbs 3X8
Cable Pulls to chin 80lbs 3X8
30lb DB Hammer Curl 3X12 each side

7:45 am
2 capsules BCAA

8:15 am
3 hard boiled eggs
PB&J sandwich
1 banana
Bag of carrots
1 Omega-3 Complex pill
3 Glucosamine/MSM pills
Multi-vitamin

10:00 am
Protein Shake:
1½ cups of skim milk
6oz blueberry yogurt
¾ cup of mixed berries
1 tbsp cane sugar

1:00 pm
Pulled pork
Sliced turkey
Broccoli
Baked beans

3:00 pm
¼ cup dry roasted almonds

5:10 pm
Small bag of Wheat Thins
1½ cups of cottage cheese

7:00 pm
Judo
After a short warm-up, we worked on transitioning from one attempted throw or sweep to another. First we worked ouchi-gari for a little bit, then worked on comiing off a failed ouchi-gari and transitioning to kouchi-gari. Pretty basic stuff, but, hey, I am a newb! Then we worked harai-tsurikomi-ashi. I got it down pretty well after a few tries and got slammed hard at one put. I landed bad, and my left knee is still a little tender today (Wednesday). WAAHHH!

Anyway, we then worked aon transitioning from harai-tsurikomi-ashi, uke lifts their foot and steps back to avoid the sweep, but tori off-balances them and throws with harai-goshi. I like that throw a lot.

Then the black belt I was working with showed me tai-otoshi. I'd done this throw before, when I was taking Aiki at my first karate dojo, but they showed it differently. Probably because they didn't know what the heck they were doing in the first place.

After working stand up for a while, we did some basic self defense, Goshi Jitsu. I was pretty familiar with these, as we did a lot of it when I was taking Goshin Ryu karate.

9:30pm
Got home from judo and was pretty hungry, so I fixed myself a bowl of cereal:
Bowl of Special K with skim milk & a banana
1 Omega-3 Complex pill
3 Glucosamine/MSM pills
