Hey

Thanks for reading my log. I just did a good Hack Lift on Friday, around 410pds, so my sumo deadlift is around 365pds the last time I maxed out. Big difference. Thanks for that web page, good old fashioned lifts featured....

Cool.

Today I was going to go to the gym to do squats, but my mom told me to stay and watch my sister (she was sick) and told me not to go anywhere. So I did mostly grip stuff today. Anyways..

Overhead Squats
(many sets w/95)
95X15 (the most reps I did this workout)

100 situps

Grip-gay-day
Dumbell thickbar lifts (timed holds - 110 lbs, reps)
Two hand pinch
Wrist levering
Wrist roller (overhand 3x, underhand 2x)
Plate wrist curls

Having to skip my workout isn't all that bad I guess, but I am leaving in 3 weeks for a vacation thing and I won't be lifting for 3 weeks, so I did not really want to miss any workouts since I would only have 2-3 squat/dead workouts before I leave. Oh well..

Actual deadlifting was not awesome today, maybe because I went for the workout right after I woke up from a nap.

Deadlifts
135
185
255X5
330X3
2X4 (300)

RDLs
135X8
185X8
225X6
135X12

These felt good, probably because I did them right after deadlifts instead of after deadlifts plus rows.

BB Rows
135
185
3X5 (200)

Form was good on these..

BB Curls
75X8
95X8

Strict OHP
5X6 (125)

Pullups
5X10

I used more weight on the overhead presses, but the rest periods were way longer and I barely got through these.

Box squats
2X2 (260)
245X2
245X1 (Heard something rip as I was going up, ended up being my boxers)

Back Squats
225
225
265
265

Narrow stance GMs
135
190X8
205X8
190X8
190X6

I realized that when I do the box squats, they are at like, 9-10 inches, rather than 12.

Good job on the pullups. How much time do you rest in between sets?

Well I only weigh about 165, but they are not very difficult for me. When I did those I took long breaks, like 4-6 minutes (that day I required more rest inbetween sets of overhead presses), because I was doing a set of OHP and then a set of pullups.

I weight the same as you, but wouldn't say they're easy. I wish they were.

Did you superset the OHP and pull ups or just alternate?

I go back and forth between them, so whichever one that means. So one set of OHP with 125, then go straight to a set of pullups. I then rest like 4-5 minutes and do another set of OHP, then straight to pullups, etc. So more rest for OHP is required for me.

That would be superset.

Has the supersetting affected your pull ups?

I think I'm going to start this since I'm on a time crunch when I workout.
