I shaved my dome about 2 months ago. I started with a #2 and made my way down to a #1. The bump on the back of my head was bigger than it thought, so I give my parents the biz from dropping my alot when I was little and got over it.

I love it. Zero maintance, except you have to cut your hair with a greater frequency.

Disclaimer: Your wife will yell at you more often for hair in the bathroom.

How's Strength Works working for you? I'm probably moving back to Phoenix at the end of the year and that gym looks tits. They close pretty early though.

Do you have a head shaver you recommend? I've bought a couple and that sucked. I mainly used them for my beard though.

Strengthworks is ok. I go usually from 8:30pm to close(10:00pm) and a lot of the times nobody is there except for one of the owners. So yeah it's cool to have everything to myself but i'd be cool to have other people there also. i dunno. On saturday afternoons it's pretty cool to see everyone lifting. The hours do suck, they suck balls.

A day pass is 7 bucks, you should check it out and if you like it its not too expensive and there is no set contract so you can cancel whenever.

although, if hours were a priority, The la fitness by my house has a power rack, all i need to buy/bring is a foam roller and a box squats for whenever i do those....meh. can't have your cake and eat it too i guess.

I'm pretty determined to build a home gym in the garage when we move, but it'll be way too hot during the summer months in Phx. I'd need somewhere else to go. Besides I'd really like to flip tires, use safety sqt and chambered bars, ghr, bumper plates, and chains. I could also use use the advice of those that are way better than me. I know my form is average on the big 3. I'm pretty bad at "catching" when I clean and I'm slow getting under the bar power snatching.

I usually hit the gym at 8:30 on weeknights too, its usually empty.

Last time is was in AZ my father-in-law took me to LA fitness on Chandler an 48th. They only one power rack too...but the steam room was *Borat voice* "verrry niiice."

Sally's Beauty Supplies will have the best selection of trimmers so you can get a pretty good one cheap. Walmart/Target will have the Wahl home cut.... its $29.99.

Yeah I'm in an one bdrm apartment right now and its killing me. I a gear whore, so I can't wait to own a home and get a power rack, sled drag, and trail run at South Mt. Maybe the wifey would even let me keep a 600lb tyre in the garage (crosses fingers).

We're probably going to live in Ahwatukee or Tempe. I'd like to be close to a trail-head so I wouldn't have to drive to go running.

My wife is from Phoenix and it's almost time to have *shudders* kids. Her parents and brothers still live there.

Actually she can work remotely from anywhere, and real estate in Seattle is crazy (behind San Jose, NYC, San Fran, LA).

I grew up in Buffalo so I love the heat in AZ, the weather in Seattle is bland. I think we had maybe 7 days in the 80's this summer, and that's just not good enough for me.

When I moved to Phoenix, I was blown away by how many early 20 somethings were pushing strollers around. People get started early in the Southwest.

Its ok, I'm immature.
