BJJ, did no-gi today, started with drilling takedowns. Then we did turtle, gonna do this a couple of weeks.
1: Get your knee in and with both hands grab his opposite arm/elbow, pull towards you and turn him by putting weight on him to get side. If he defends this by expanding his base, move your hand closest to his face away from his elbow and grab his shoulder, so your arm now is under his cheek. Now, instead of pushing him to the side you twist him and push him so he goes more back then to the side, feels similar to a throw.

Complex
BOR-Hang Clean-Push Press-Squat-Goodmorning
50kg 6reps of each, 6sets 1min rest. Next time around I'm gonna try to shorten the rest periods to 45sec.

The push press is the hardest part of this complex.

BJJ, turtle training. My topgame is getting better in this position, but my bottom game is weak. Have to focus more on that side of turtle.

BJJ, did some sparring, soft training today. Some details to techs
1: In z-guard(right leg caught), your knee should be pushing against his shoulder or his chest but preferably his shoulder. Grab his left leg pants with your right arm pull towards you, other arm grab and pull his right sleeve and push with your knee towards his shoulder. Move your body so he comes more over you and sweep him to your left side.
2: Americana escape from bottomside.

BJJ. Turtle, same stuff as last week. Noticed that on top when you go for the far side arm and leg is pretty hight percentage.
1: Defense when he tries to roll over his farside shoulder, go with his movement, use your arms to make it easier to get with the movement.
2: Can also take seatbelt grip and roll with him to get the hooks in.

BJJ, more Turtle.
1: Noticed that when going for his far arm and aiming to make him fall over to side, it is alot easier if you push with your shoulder against his ribs. This should be done with the shoulder that is closest to his hips. When he tries to defend this by putting his fot in the ground, you slip your arm fartest from his hips up against his chin and pull him towards you and move your body up against his head.
2: Worked more on seatbeltgrip, and different things you can do from there. Get the grip and roll over your shoulder to get the hooks.
3: Your arm closest to his hips goes under his far armpit and up to his neck, now grab that hand with your other hand, palm to palm. Press with your elbow on his neck and pull with your arm that is under his armpit and move your body back and up towards his head to pull him to his back.
