Sunday - 8/10/08 - Bodyweight 232

First wo in about three weeks, minus the comp. I've had some sinus/allergy/cold whatever so I've laid low. I'm not sure why I'm typing that, none of you fuckers care.

Tire flip - tough today, took an energy pill and it fucked with my HR. After the 11 flip set it was around 200 bpm

1

1
2
3
5
11 - Almost puke, lied down for at least 10 minutes. Quads were toast, and I can tell I'd had some time off of lifting.

Deadlifts - All singles, stop and reset.

135*5
225*3
315*3
405*2
495*2
545*1
585*1
635*1 - 20 lb pr and it felt solid and fast, with very little hitching at the top (not that I really care). I was pumped, and am re-learning how to fearlessly attack the bar. I think I was good for 15 more or so. Next I want 655, and I'm shooting for 700 by the end of '08, with or without a suit.

Box jumps - we weren't trying to "stick these," just get up solid enough to know we got it.

36 inches*4
42 inches*3
46*1
48*1
50*1
52*1
54*kiiiinda.

Not bad for post tire flip and deadlift PR. I'd like to hit 60-62

Upper back supine grip machine rows

stack*13 + hold

Cable pull down

Sweet comp for you! Nice work. Sorry if you already said, but what were the press weights?

MatterOverMind, XTrainer, DS - Thanks a ton guys. Doesn't it seem like PR days are just the best days? I was cheerful all damn day! Haha

Fatty - Thanks man, that means a lot. The weights are on the youtube description, but also:

Log - 260
Barbell - 255
Axle - 240
DB - 130
Keg - 1,000,000 (or 200 lbs, take your pick)

In practice I'd done it in ~19 seconds, but jesus if it wasn't so hard.

If you look at the keg, you'll see that my legs won't bend. I've never had all the muscles in BOTH my quads, including my IT bands, cramp at the same time...I had no leg drive and I'm not sure how that damn keg went up.
