Nice pull.

One question, though: Now, I've never competed in a powerlifting competition before...but would your deadlift "pass" with the amount of hitch(I think that's the term) you used? Not trying to be critical...because I have honestly no idea how much is allowed or whatever.

Oh dear god, absolutely not. Not even close. I think the 585 before it would have had a solid chance at passing though.

Luckily, in strongman, anything goes. Stand up with it any way you can. Traditionally, though, my "hitch" is much smoother. Like I said, my skin felt like it had rosin on it and was grabbing the damn bar as I tried to push my hips through.

I know. I had some at the house, just didn't bring it with me. Next time for sure.

Also, with the way the ****l suit made 500 feel last month, I feel like I could get 50-60 pounds out of it. And if I'm at 635 or so now, that means I'm chasing 700...

*bares teeth*

I will have it.

Nice pull. I'm surprised that you don't have a bigger DL PR w/ that squat of yours. My DL is about the same as yours, but my squat isn't even in the same ballpark.

You know, I really think I have a shot at 635 if I'm fresh. I spose we'll see in a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure your squat and deadlift should be about the same, right? So mine are pretty on track - what the fucks wrong with your squat?

Of course, there isn't any video of your 605lb squat.

True. I haven't actually hit 605 without a suit. Though with a suit I did a triple with it. Best is 585 so far. Except for that easy 675 box squat.

Oh, and 53 videos isn't enough for you?

You're just mad because I've deadlifted more than you.

It's ok baby, you'll catch up one day!

I don't count reps with straps and major league hitching.
