Fantastic, I will try both of those. I already KIND of do the lightweight shrug to squat catch movement, but I will focus on it more before my next set of cleans.

Fatty, I hereby award you special points for illuminating this:
Quote:
With no weight felt in my hands at all, I feel like the initial drive up is a great deal more effortless, which helps in my transition to the second knee bend.
I never even thought of that before.

As an aside, today I did SOHP, and I can't imagine the elbows being up when trying these...

Workout to follow.

Saturday 6.21.08

Had a fucking great shoulder workout.

SOHP
Bar*10
135*6
185*4
225*2
245*1
265*1 10 lb. PR
225*7 PR +4 rep PR...wtf?

Definitely burned out the delts and triceps.

I've been wanting to try this since last week; I probably should have picked a different day to do so.

150 DB for reps in 60 seconds. Full clean and press each rep. These were kind of hard.

Set 1: 5 reps
Set 2: 6 reps

Once I figured out that I didn't need to have it positioned exactly perfect on my shoulder before pressing, I could just clean it up there, stabilize for a second, and press.

I CLEARLY felt the fatigue in my shoulders and triceps, and felt a little tired in my low back from last nights power cleans. I'd like to get 8 reps next time.

I've had the flu for 3 days.

Sex 3x/day doesn't seem to be healing me like I thought it would...

I might try to hit bench today. Tonight, rather.
