take - I think the only way it carries over is in that it develops strength in it's own unique way. Like I said, I think I'll start including it in my routine.

Lusst - Seriously? Don't worry as in I have no chance?

*whistles*

Fightin' words, fer sure, buddy. I don't care if he outweighs me by....60 pounds *suddenly feels a little daunted* I'll catch him soon, just you watch.

*laughing* I know, funny shit. She's fucking adorable. When we were watching them on the computer she was so embarrassed. She was like, "They're all gonna hear meeee." Still, she's supportive as hell.

Sunday 4/6/08

Atlas stones

230*2
230*2 - 280*1
230*1 - 280*1 - 340*1
230*1 - 280*1 - 340*1 - 385*1
230*1 - 280*1 - 340*1 - 385*1 - Broke 415 from the ground but couldn't lap it, I was spent.

Behind the neck jerks - these were awful. Just terrible.
Bar*5
135*5
225*3
275*2
315*0
315*1
315*0

16" Deadlifts
405*5
495*3
585*3

We had ChaseT come workout with us - that guys deadlift humbles me. He could be a force in the stones if he wanted to.

Those stones got my arms pretty good. I can't remember the last time I had sore biceps.

Yeah that happens. I've got some stringy shit going on with my right erectors...probably from that last set of deads.

Again, though, you WERE using biceps a lot. Remember me saying that, and trying to get you to get your arms straighter?

Still, you've got gay arms I guess, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Strongman - It's been a long time since I've done tire flip (what used to be my worst event). Last season I worked my ass off and made it a pretty good event. I worked up to a 780 tire for 6 flips with little rest, I forget the time but it was good.

Today, HUGE PR's on tire, et al.

780 Tire

3 deadlifts
2 flips
7 flips (PR # of flips in a row, but it was slow and had 2 two-motion flips at the end)
7 flips FAST, with no two-motions. My form really came together during this set, and I was extremely pleased.
Supersetted into ---> Sled drag - 350 pounds - 50 feet.

Medleys suck, eh Lusst?

Done with tire, one more sled drag: 550 pounds for 50 feet. Uhg. Heavy.

On to the gym.

RDL's - We used only 25's on these so we could get lower to the ground without having to stand on a box.

145*6
245*6
345*6
395*6
450*5 (Was aiming for 3)

All were VERY deep, and WITHOUT a belt. The last two sets were pretty good PR's for me, especially non-belted.

Pull-ups
BW*6
Partner pulls*6

Cable mid rows
Whatever*8
Whatever*8

Machine cable low rows
Whatever*8
Whatever*8
Whatever*8
