Wanted to do 6x3 all day, but fuck 6x3 DLs. And the period was HELLLLA short (seriously, dunno why. We left the locker room kinda late, but yeah). Oh well.

Lifting - 5/12

Bench 6x3
150
170
190 (only did 3)

DL
275x3
315x3
365x1
315x3

Short workout. Wanted to do pullups. And hanging leg raises. And curls. Actually hella shit. Think we're lifting tmw though.

Good to see some lifting in this log. Keep it up.

So I decided I'm switching to true PL style 3x3 (just about 3 rep max 3 times) for core lifts. Going to emphasize more plyometrics in home workouts as well. Really want to add a few inches to my vertical (all I need to be able to 360 dunk).

Oh and HST training really seems amazing. Idk if anyone's familiar with it, but wow. So hard to keep myself from doing a HST style program for a few months, the only thing that prevented me from doing so was the realization that it would probably bring nearly as much hate as the v-diet. And it wouldn't really do anything for my S&C. Well, very little anyways.

Oh AND I'm selling some stuff so I should be able to join UF and finally be able to log actual training, or at the very least get that sledge I've been eyeing at Ace.

Hmm, was totally unaware of this school before. They have Dean Lister as a BJJ instructor there, which means I'd be able to train striking and BJJ in one place, then I'd probably find an exclusively judo club to train at as well.

BONUS: They have yoga. I'm actually excited for this.

Less grandiose plans, more lifting! If had a $ for every plan I made, I'd be rich. Well, maybe not really at the current $/€ exchange rate, but I'd be well off.

HST stands for Hypertrophy Specific Training right?

I think you need to really think about what your goals are. I mean you said its hard NOT to do this type of training, if you wanna be a fighter hypertrophy should be a word that makes you vomit. Its fucking hard enough getting in good cardio shape and muscle endurance its 10 times as hard if you have alot of useless muscle on you gotten from doing bodybuilding isolation.

I think this log is definately improving though and I hope you get your situation worked out to where you can do some MMA training. Good job!
