It seems well deserved. He seems like an ungrateful, superficial, spoiled shit to me. Maybe he's had it rough, but all the guys I know who have had a legitimately rough upbringing don't really like talking about it and certainly don't bring it up like its some boasting point. I know self made people, people who had shitty parent, and those people who don't come out like complete shitheads A) don't discuss the matter much, and B) have moved on with their lives.

They don't whine about how little their parents were parents, they stfu and get done what needs to get done.

I was watching a documentary on dunking the other day (flying 101, it's amazing), and a lot of the featured dunkers were really short guys, 5'11" or so. The consensus amongst them was that they actually enjoyed being shorter, as they had to work that much harder to get up that high to perform these amazing dunks. I find that relevant here.

Yeah I had it rough. I lived in the fuckin hood with my dad, hopped lightrail to school and dealt with a ton of shit most kids don't have to deal with (or are even aware goes on). Fuck it, I wear it like a badge, because I managed to pull through academically, physically and socially. Not to mention, I'm 17, so it's ok for me to think I'm better than everyone else anyways.

Oh well.

Dude, you had Internet and a roof. My wife teaches kids that don't have that. This is a mostly older crowd in here, and coming off as a spoiled brat isn't going to make it easy in here. Theres a lot of knowledgeable people iin here to pick their brains, but they clam up quick to a spoiled brat. If you want to lift better you're going to have to learn to take criticism. And if you bring up any family stuff in here, prepare to be eviscerated over it. It's just the nature of the Kitchen.

I had internet and a roof MOST OF THE TIME, I'm sorry. I really don't feel the need to delve into this on what should be a log of my diet/lifting/mma training.

I'm aware that the crowd is mostly older, which is why alot of them seemed concerned/angered when I called my dad a ***got. I understand this, and things like this are why you generally don't see younger guys and older dudes kickin it IRL. I mean really, think about it. Our views are completely dissimilar. Then you take into account that it's the internet, and flamings really the only logical thing they can do.

Lol, I'm not losing any sleep over it. Only gaining thread views. Oh well.
