Oh my bad I forgot to mention we both get our money from my gramma, and he collects checks for a living. Thus the "unwarranted" disrespect.

If you had to live with a deadbeat dad from age 13 - college, get yourself to and from school EVERY day and pretty much "survive" (thanks government for the food) on your own, you'd understand. I mean the man faked some knee disease (operative word FAKED) just to get a cannabis card. Come on.

And yeah this log sucks, haven't got much training to log yet, lol.

Oh and it's gettin easier. Now when I see food I just think "FUCK I love food" and it passes. Also, bought some no-carb stuff today, diet snapple and rockstars, those are pretty good. Should help me get by. Also sugarfree gum. Gotta love that.

Also, I now weigh 180. I'm assuming this is partially because of the diet and partially because I've been drinking tons (increased hydration causes the body to be rid of excess water). 12 pounds of anything but muscle in 4 days though, not bad.

Note: Diet Peach Snapple blows. Sticking to mineral water and tea.

Oh don't get me wrong, he's my dad and I have to respect him for that. But I also feel like if he'd just done his part and been there when I needed parenting and driven me to school and done all the other shit dads do, well it woulda been nice I guess. I mean I'm kinda thankful in a way, just cause by him NOT doing all that I ended up how I am today, and I'm pretty damn happy with that.

Idk why we're talking about my dad in my log. This is supposed to be about a diet, not a counseling session lol. Oh well.

edit: The snapple got better further in. Slightly better than tea, not quite at the level of mineral water though.

There's always someone who has it worse.

Oh lol I never said I had it bad. My life is great, my dad isn't. Like honestly, if anyone had a better HS senior year than I am currently having, I'd like to meet 'em. Seriously.

Lol I just realized how bad I feel that this log had to go in the S&P section. If there was a general log (diet, conditioning, etc.) I wouldn't feel so bad. But this thread is really like 8.5 pages of irrelevant bullshit so far. My bad.

And I'm excited! I found some stuff on grip strength, and I'm just gonna start holding negatives for 20 seconds with my 200 lbs gripper. Seems thats an effective way to get your grip strength up quick. Also, gonna put more emphasis on wrist curls. This will definitely help me when I begin to train BJJ.

Also, I researched the BJJ grading system because I wasn't really familiar with it. It seems alot of it is based on your ability to best (read: tap) your peers. When I move to SD, I'll have about 4 months of BJJ under my belt, and hopefully will be able to get my blue belt (in gracie jj) extremely quickly. Who knows, maybe I'll get my black in less than 3.5 years? (if you get me)

2 more shakes today, and I feel fine, btw. Just watched my grandparents eat bomb ass chicken salad and one of my favorite kind of Progresso's. Yeah, it's getting easier.
