Today
Decent workout.

Deadlifting/Rack Pulls
Totally unremarkable. I think I'm still feeling the effects of the DL challenge I did Sunday. Hard to hold onto the bar when it got over 400lbs.

Power Shrugs/Shrugs: Higher volume than usual. Power shrugs at 315, standard shrugs 225-275 (DO grip).

Front Squats (Light)
135x3
3x5 @ 195. Actually, the last set was 6, not 5. Feeling strong on these.

Back Squats
135x20

Weighted Pull Ups and Chins
Various, but the main volume of my work was 3x5 pull ups at BW+55lbs (missed the very last rep). I supersetted each set with cable rows. Also did some L-sit chins.

Curlz

Finisher THIS IS A GOOD ONE!
~100m Rower sprint Sprint+2 Dumbbell Snatches (70lbs)x10, ended with a longer sprint and lots of extra snatches.

Core later.

Just attempted a Turkish get-up PR (95lbs, a 4lb PR), but my legs were too tired. May try again Friday.

the 100m sprint is like 10 hard pulls at the middle setting on the c2 that i normally use. that sounds like an excellent finisher

By the way, how much is a C2? I could definitely see myself owning one of those someday.

Today
First and foremost...happy birthday to me! (18)

GPP Workout
Since most of my normal GPP workouts contain chins or pull ups, which I wanted to avoid today (heavy chins tomorrow), I made up this:

100 Burpees
100 BW Squats
100 Push ups
100 Chinnies
100 Jump Rope turns
(With a few extra reps of each thrown in for good measure).

Pretty good workout when short on time.

C2's are about 2k new, IIRC. I have a friend who does crew, that's what she said.

Happy birthday, smoke your heart out... oh wait.

I seriously don't get how you could do that on your birthday. Chances are, I'd be eating steak and cake.
