Pause squats help me, too. I need to get my shoulders more flexible before I can be serious about OHS, though. Here's the idea: If I raise my hand right now, the farthest back I can put it is still about 30 degrees short of vertical. Just Imagine what that translates into one I start squatting...

Today
Today was guns...okay, so it was pull day.
Started my workout with a 2:00 brisk run, then:
Deadlifts (shin-scraping technique work; I definately more of a back puller)
135x5
225x3
315x3
Rack Pulls (pins set about knee height)
315x1
365x1
405x1-I love watching the bar flex on these rack pulls.
425x1
405x1-Static hold
405x1-Static hold
405x1-Static hold
315x1-LONG static hold
225x5 (Full deadlifts to loosen up)
BORs-slight slop, but not too bad.
5x5 200-First time I broke 200 on these.
Barbell Curls
Shooting for 5x3 at 100lbs, but only managed doubles and singles. I'll get it next time. Also hit some hammer curls and standard curls.
Finisher
135x2 power clean+Walk across gym to pull up bar+3 Pull ups about 10 times probably. Then rowed the 135 bar until I died.
Ab work
Max incline, holding 25lb plate behind my head, 3x10. Then some Russian twist and...Swiss ball situps. lol
As with all my strength workouts, ended with cardio.

BTW, thanks to everyone who has been commenting on this log (even if those comments imply I am on drugs).
And another random thought: I haven't gone for max reps on unweighted pull ups in a long time. I bet I could hit around 25 now. I want to try that next week.

Yeah, but only with low reps. I have so many goals at any one time it's hard to focus on any one thing. I just get these stupid urges that really probably hurt my recovery, etc. more than anything, but whatever...I think I'll shoot for max pull ups on Monday, and that will be my benchmark. Where are you at right now?

Chins @ 20 reps if I'm totally fresh. Pulls a couple less. I'd be happy with 30 of each.
