Reinventing SocraticMethod (2009)

You'll notice my log just kind of stops three weeks ago. This is because you've been lucky enough to be chosen by a captain who has a staph infection. Hopefully, I won't lose my leg and may some day train again.

Sept. 1, 2009 Edit: You don't need to post every training session in here, but post bench work and assistance work. Also, feel free to post questions, thoughts, problems, etc. We are all in this to help each other. If you hit a snag, ask about it. There are some strong guys here who will be glad to help out. And even if you're newer to lifting, you may have had a similar problem and will thus be in a good position to help out.

As for videos: You don't need to carry a video camera around with you at all times, but if you plan on going for a PR one day, try to bring it. You might think you won't worry about the video until the end of the competition, and not bother taping a 5-pound PR or a 10-pound PR early on, but I would warn against that. I didn't bother taping my any of my overhead work during that contest, figuring I'd get a video the last week of the competition at my heaviest weight. Then I got staph and couldn't train the last three weeks of the competition, and got nothing.
