Zero Punctuation: The Orange Box
Zero Punctuation: The Orange Box
Zero Punctuation Review of the Orange Box
"Lastly, there's Portal, and if you are a regular viewer, you'll understand how INSANE these words feel coming out of my mouth, but I can't think of any criticism for it. I'm serious, this is the most fun you'll have at your PC until they invent a force-feedback codpiece. I went in expecting a slew of interesting portal based puzzles, and that's exactly what I got, but what I wasn't expecting was some of the funniest, pitch-black humour I've ever heard in a game. Okay, it's only two to three hours long, but that's a good length for it. It means it doesn't outstay it's welcome, and it narrows the gap between you and the balls-tighteningly fantastic ending. Absolutely sublime from start to finish, and I will jam forks into my eyes if I ever use those words to describe anything else, ever again. Yeah, I know it's not very funny to love a game, but FUCK YOU, Portal's great, and if you don't think so, you must be STUPID!"

I'm going to pick up the Orange Box next week for X360.
Is there a Half Life: Episode 3 in the works?

Man, I love Zero Punctuation. His review of Heavenly Sword was especially hilarious.

Having beat Portal I can say that it is in fact perfect. Its a completely next gen, truly mind bending experience. You can shoot a portal at the ceiling and one at you feet and fall in perpetuity. But the coolest thing is you see the back of your character through the portal falling as well as smaller versions ahead of her. It's impossible to explain, you just have to play it. The humor is quite funny too. The end credits are the best I've ever seen.

the game is incredible. i there's A LOT they can do with it in the future regarduing story line. what i don't get is, wtf is the companion cube about? how is it not just a regular cube with hearts on it. does it have any special properties i didn't discover? seems to already be a fan favorite.
i've finished the game twice. i had to play it again a second time because it's just that much fun.
with that being said, i'm really not liking half-life 2. any of the episodes. but TF2 is so much fun.
