I'm looking for a part-time job that I can have as an undergrad college student over the summer and during the school year. Anyone know of a good job that is fairly pleasant and pays a reasonable wage?

In the past I've worked in the shipping department of C-SPAN and in corn fields doing detasseling. The C-SPAN work wasn't bad but the monotony of the work really made it difficult for me to care. Detasseling was horrible. If you're a teenager, don't move to the Midwest or you'll have to do that shit.

Try and find somewhere with decent penalty rates for weekend/early starts, basically a company which needs workers 24/7. I'm making 37 an hour on the weekends at the moment thanks to penalty rates

have you ever thought about being a waiter or bus boy. the wages arent that great but the tip outs are. When i was in undergrad i made 5.15 an hour plus an addition 50 at the end of the day. I think I averaged about 12 an hour when all was said and done
