Best gaming headset?

I need a new headset for my computer. I've been wearing both a microphone and seperate headphones at the same time for years now and these headphones make my ears all sore and red. What is the best PC gaming headset available under 200 dollars concerning quality of sound, the microphone, and comfort?

Razer makes high quality goods for pro gamers. I have some stuff made by them.

Razer Barracuda gaming headset.

But for headsets, I have a pair of David Clarks.

Are there any alternative headset/mic combos for the psp? The standard Sony one bloooooows.

I gotta check that out. That would be perfect for Flight Simulator, I play that a lot.

I read a review about the barracude that said it didnt have much bass and that it wasnt great for movies and music.... you also need to buy the soundcard to go along with it to get the best performance.... those 500 dollar ones are awesome but too expensive.

Which ones? The Dave Clarks? Dude those are super expensive and meant for professional use, like pilots and crap. I just have a pair because I was issued one at my old job. They are really kick ass though. They are much better than that other pair I have.

Ah, ok. I'm not much of an audiophile and my wife uses them most of the time, so I don't really know. They seem pretty good to me. Yeah, those David Clarks are super expensive. I wasn't suggesting you buy one, but just flaunting. I didn't buy my pair, btw. I couldn't convince myself to spend so much money on something just to play pc games.
