Plus, when a company makes more profits, it pays more taxes. The company saves 70 bucks a day having an illegal alien, but they produce $500 bucks more, so more profits, more taxes. Oh wait, good old conservatives want less taxes for the rich, so I guess it's worthless to think about that now.

good post bro, alot of these idiots have this notion that illegals just mooch of the system and do nothing, and for the other guys post, there are plenty of legal citizens who dont pay taxes

I know they do more than just mooch, like commit crimes and run drugs... I am aware that plenty of citizens dont pay their taxes, no real big news there, doesnt make it right. The fact of the matter is you guys are argueing the point that it should be ok for illegal aliens to just wonder across the border with a who gives a fuck attitude. they should have to go about things in the legal way just like the immigrants who are no proper citizens

That fucktard THEOCEAN turned it into one. It sucks that the lady had to lay there and die like that. Somebody posted earlier about the ridiculous amount of people that clutter up ER's with non emergency issues. I think that's one of the biggest problems.

My apologies on switching the post to immigration, im done...
Now on your comments on the ER congestion, would that increase or decrease under a universal healthcare system similiar to Canadas?

It would probably increase because people don't understand the whole "Emergency Room" part. IMHO, Emergencies should be treated in emergency rooms and non-emergencies should be treated in local health clinics or in a family doctors office.

I think it would go up as well thats why i think people should be a little more cautious when they push for that system of healthcare, i also think there is a shortage of local health clinics (at least in my area) which is why ERs are constantly at 100% of capacity. i think ERs should have the ability to refuse minor problems, although thatd probably lead to all types of lawsuits.

That is the worst idea I have ever heard in my life.

So instead people should be able to clog up ERs to have a splinter removed (seen that one as well)...I just think that with things like in the video and instances where people are waiting 8-10 hours for major issues, minor situations should be able to be referred to your doctor or a minor trauma center or something similiar.

Listen, unless you know what you are talking about you need to just stop. No one with a "major issue" is going to sit in a ER and wait to be seen. Let me explain to you what happens when you come into the ER.
1. You let us know what your problem is
2. We do your vital signs
3. We give you a level...example: a level 1 is the worst you have to be not breathing or close to it to be a level 1. Levels 1&2 usually go right into the trauma room and they usually have a wait of about 30 seconds. A slipter in the finger would be a level 5 which is the lowest, they can come to the ER but they will be waiting a very very long time to be seen.
