Wrath of God is referring to the righteous judgement of God.

When one is convicted of a crime and gets the full sentence under the law one could say that the convicted has felt the full wrath of the law.

that is what I have always understood when I read about the wrath of God.

The situation is that we can not deny interference, it exist in all levels of existence, from personal to most abstract social organization, companies, govermt, political, educational and so on ...

However, we should not judge reality by any logical coherence, it may not have it, contradictons exist, at least for our understanding level ...

Some guy came up to me the other day while I was in line at the bank and started chatting me up, within 1 or 2 minutes he began an actual attempt at "converting" me into a born again christian. Amonst other things he began talking about the wrath of god and that I was doomed if I didn't change my ways. Usually I would just listen and then carry on with my day but I asked this guy to specify as to exactly what the wrath of god was? Is it supposed to happen during my life? Afterlife? Another lifetime? Will it happen to me directly? Indirectly? He got flustered and left.
