Wrath Of God?
I just recently spoke to a very conservative about a couple of pointless issues (abortion, Gay marriage) and he was extremely opposed to these views. He could not offer any real reason why, until he let the "Wrath of God" argument slip out. He thinks that if society allows gay marriage, abortions, porn’s, and prostitution, then the country will incur Gods Wrath.
How many people do you think actually believe in this shit?
And how come they are too afraid to come out and state their ridiculous argument?

They might not want state their ridiculous argument because it's a ridiculous argument.

Its a great way for believers to explain everything bad that happens in the world, otherwise they'd have to admit that God works on exactly the same concept as Santa Claus.

To me this seems like the most selfish act a person can do. Restrict other peoples lives in order to please a venegful God that may or may not even exist.

It's just a way to keep people in line. Like I've always said, every religion boils down to the same two things:
1.) Explaining what can not be explained
2.) Controling the masses
Break down any religion and you'll find these two commonalities.

people can think what they want to... it's their right. Problem is, when you let your faith dictate what others can or can not do. Then you're a target for some serious justified violence.

The wrath of God I don't know, but great nations have fallen because of less. Half of this nation is spoiled and is neclecting the things that made this nation great to pursue personal pleasures in the guise of personal freedoms and so called rights.
Liberalism is the darknight that rides the white horse. It means well but in the long run will be very harmful and destructive.
