Science rests on evidence for assertions unlike religion. Faith is belief without evidence something that science NEVER claims. In the abscence of evidence to interpret, science doesn't make an assertion either way.

Also, if you knew anything about philosophy, you would know that Kant proved that the existence of God can't be proved or disproved by logic. So you getting your panties in a bunch about the non-existence of God is just as absurd and futile as someone trying to prove God exists.

Faith is subjective and just because it doesn't make sense to you, doesn't mean it can't mean something to someone else. You also don't need to belong to a religion to believe in God.
