I'm sorry, and I probably shouldn't have posted it here. But I find it totally ridiculous when people like Diego and Rampage start thanking "God" when they have just succeeded in beating the shit out of their opponent. They are the ones who started bringing religion into Pride and UFC, not me with my little 'rant'.

Perhaps Diego, like some of us, sees MMA as an athletic competition, like any other sport. If he's thanking God for his talent or for keeping him safe, that doesn't have to necessarily contradict with any of his beliefs.

Wasteland.

Also, if you knew anything about philosophy, you would know that Kant proved that the existence of God can't be proved or disproved by logic. So you getting your panties in a bunch about the non-existence of God is just as absurd and futile as someone trying to prove God exists.

Faith is subjective and just because it doesn't make sense to you, doesn't mean it can't mean something to someone else. You also don't need to belong to a religion to believe in God.

i actually agree with every thing you said. i guess becuase i dont really have any religious belifes although i was raised cathlic(i cant even spell it) i dont belive in it. and a lot of it has to do with a prosses of thought similar to yours.
and to your statement on religon being money and power i can agree becuse ive heard more than once that 75% of the donations go to the church and the rest goes to the chariteys. no sorce just what i hear from people who have reaserched about it.

I am not religious at all, but let each person believe whatever gets 'em through the day. The threadstarter is just a waste-of-space ****.
