Worse cell phone company (coverage)?

From your experience, what is the worse cell phone company you've ever dealt with in terms of cost of using the service, signal coverage (meaning how well you receive cell phone signal in many different places) and other annoying things (such as bad customer service)?

I would have to say that T-Mobile is the worse cell company I ever dealt with.

The thing is, their customer service is great, their price is ok (except they charge heavy if you go over your minutes, 40cents extra per minute!) and their phones look great...

Except for one thing that makes them the worse imho: their signal coverage sucks!!!

Indeed T-Mobile service is garbage. I went with them because like you said they have some cool phones.

I went to Va Tech which is southwest VA so the service obviously blew there. Moved back to Staten Island NYC and the service was also sucky there. Only time it was good was in Manhattan but thats a given. Even when I did have service calls would be dropped constantly.

Finally i just made the switch to Verizon Wednesday. I got the samsung glyde which is pretty cool but the reception is excellent everywhere. I even get service in the subways sometimes and that never happened with TMobile.

I'll agree that T-Mobile is awful, I've had friends that had them and their coverage sucked. Sprint is iffy. Some cities have great coverage, while others are pretty piss poor. If you live in a big city you're golden, you live in the sticks or driving thru isolated areas, you're screwed.

Yea Sprints been lost over a million customers i hear. Ever since they merged with nextel its been downhill. they didn't have a plan when they took over and its bittin them in the ass super hard.

Thats why they have some of the cheapest plans because they are trying to keep customers. I was going to switch to Sprint after T-mobile but i didn't want to be stuck in a contract in case the service was shitty too.

Anyone who has only had Sprint or a local provider think that Sprint is the end all be all of cell phones. They are the cockiest customers I have ever met. And if their phone doesn't work, they have the biggest bullshit excuses. F'ing elitists.

Anyways, T-Maybe, Nextime, and Cricket, are the worst I know.

You know those loud strips on the side of the interstate? Nextel had those installed to let you know when you are going out of their coverage area.

In North Carolina, At@t(since merging with cingular) has the best coverage while Sprint has horrible customer service
