It's called Synesthesia. I don't think it has anything to do with your intelligence.

Some scientist that study Synesthesia believe that all humans are like this, but some have much more evolved versions of it.

IQ Tests are highly overrated.

In that video they said Darwin IQ was less than 140. I've scored over 140 on the few iq tests I took.... Darwin was much smarter than I am. Infact I have 2 friends who have also scored over 140 on iq tests. None of them are more intelligent than Darwin lol.

IQ tests mean absolute jack shit. He's good at one type of intelligence. Whoop-de-fucking-doo. This guy couldn't outperform most of the posters on this board in other facets of intelligence.

The special I saw didn't call it a disorder. Just another way to perceive things and that all humans show signs of it, but some are more advanced than others.

They gave examples. Like... when someone says "that shirt is loud". You can't hear a shirt, but what you perceive with your eyes can give you the same sensation as what you perceive with your ears.

You are assuming that the most intelligent people are interested in the highest-paying jobs. I can tell you from what I see in law school that this is a bad assumption. The great majority of of the smartest and most intellectually gifted students I know are interested in becoming professors or otherwise working in not-very-high-paying fields.

Hell, look at 99% of scientists...they go into a field where you have virtually no chance of ever becoming "wealthy."
