The guy even admits himself, at the end of the day he's a bouncer. He's basically a philosopher who happens to be very well spoken. Nothing more,

Either hes too lazy , or he's so insanely intelligent , that he sees no reason in it , in which case he could atleast be one of those new Socrates wannabees . With his iq , it should be easy to become a governator or something , yet he doesnt do it . He could maybe do some drastic change in bio chemistry , EVERYTHING and hes doing nothing , hes writing notes on what he would do if he had power , in a bar .
With his iq , he could ATLEAST try to cheat of to get some money , and then use the money in an appropriate way . But this guy does nothing , I dont understand .
Ill be quite happy if someone explains me his opinion on this .

Ever consider he may have a debilitating fear of failure? Or maybe he sees the big picture and the fact that nothing we do in this short, insignificant life will matter the second we die?

Exactly. That's why many people with genius IQs don't really buy into the whole rat race lifestyle and decide not to put material wealth on a pedestal like a lot of people of lesser intelligence, or otherwise, do. I didn't bother watching his videos, but I would imagine the life he is currently leading is one that he is content with, and what else can he ask for?

True, but I don't think the vast majority of people are aiming to be the smartest/highest IQ person in the world. I know I am not going to take offense by anything he says.

If you think the average rocket scientist is less intelligent than the average personal injury attorney or the average investment banker, you need to seriously re-assess your theory.

I still do not understand how anyone can confuse him with the smartest man in the world?
The evidence of his intelligence is the rather shaky credibility of the IQ test, which almost certainly has not been taken by even 1% of the worlds population...
So he is the best test taker of a very limited amount of test takers...

A high IQ is admirable but I don't necessarily envy men with high IQs. I find people with strong moral character who live good lives to be much more enviable than a self-righteous brainiac.

if i remember my research correctly, iq goes correlate very highly with g. that said, it's not very important in this guy's case because he lacks the creativity to have contributed anything worthwhile. he could easily breeze through any degree and do any job (assuming he's atable enough and can be somewhat personable (so prolly not (lol))), but he doesn't have the kind of mind that people consider important like a michaelangelo or dostoeyevsky or einstein because he's merely smart and not creative.
btw i remember reading about this ultra high intelligence contest several yearsago that sounded really interesting. there were all these super TUF questions that could be solved over any timeline, and with any aid. the guy who won it was some grad student at the university of michigan who like wrote all these programs to help him solve the problems. resolurcesfulness + intelligence also > this guy.
