That sounds like a pretty odd definition of intelligence. On what basis does money determine how bright somebody is? What if someone like Bill Gates had a mentally handicapped son who inherited all his money and became the richest person?

It's like this, the entire purpose of life is to acquire fancy things and to appropriate as much as possible and gain as much power and authority as can possibly be attained. This has been the purpose of every persons life since the beginning of man. This is why people work at shit jobs and do things, to gain money. Whoever has the most money, if not inherited, which many of the richest people haven't, has truly mastered life through cunning and intelligence. They have fulfilled their potential as human beings. This can only be done through practical intelligence. The smarts to get that money.

If the purpose of your life isn't to attain as much money as possible, then it's not that you have a different purpose, but your mind and world view have adjusted to the reality that you are incapable of aquiring the means to live like a king and must therefore justify your existence through other means and live the life of a lesser person.

Well shoot, you've got it all figured out! Why am I wasting my time playing when I could be working and making AWESOME MONEY!!!!!

Screw things like having fun, spending time with people you love, taking care of your health, learning about the world, hobbies, etc. It turns out that what I really want ... is MORE MONEY!!!! Why? Why ask that question! It's the end of life itself!!! There is nothing more you could want!

Exactly. You have it figured out. Besides, what could be more fun than swimming in a pool of money while your hot french maids complement you on having such a big pool.

Edit: btw, all of those things you mentioned above require money. it is not a means to an end, it is a purpose, because one can never have enough. Always need money, especially the health part, LOL!

Phillbox Joe , there are things more important then money concerning human kind . Its those "stupid" scientists that waste their whole life , hoping they will discover something . Its true that ussualy they dont , but when they do , the little difference often has more value than high amounts of money . Sure research requires money , but imagine - where would the world go if there were new things ? And now imagine there were no money , it would move without the money .

And as far as iq goes I think lots of people dont really understand this ... iq is more like the measure of your abstract thinking , the depth and speed of it . As Ive said being the richest ussualy means the person lacks morality , then again like Ive said , some geniouses should realise , when theyr so intelligent , they should get to a place with high power , without morality , whatever it costs , but once they get there , only do for the good . It would be for the greater good .

I would not mind having a high iq guy in control of the world , better than corrupted idiots , which are voted because of their opinion . With an highg iq guy in power , the opinions would change , it would require him to have lots of power , and to have it for a long time , and nobody will want that to happen .

But like Ive said , if he is so intelligent ... I understand he is not rich , he finds no reason for it , I understand he doesnt have an academic degree , he finds no reason for it .

But seriously , should he not try to effect the worlds a bit more ? Surely if your so smart , you should be able to make a complex plan on how to get to power . Getting to know people , joining them , making friends , what do I know .

heck when a dumbass like bush is the president , why couldnt this guy be the president ? I dont care who is there , but any guy with an intelligence of 170 or more would do a great job .
High iq guys arent necessarily those " absent - minded " proffessors , that only know how to solve equations . They are the guys that think deeper than you , and have more predictions , and an overlook over the scheme .

High iq guys realise , and do things , at which they know that they will probably fail , but they also realise ( which some dont ) that even though they will probably fail , they have a higher chance at succeeding than most of the others .

There are also other factors , like creativity , will , psychic stability and wisdom , that effect things that many famous people created .

Imo , I would say that iq is the most important factor , with the others being important aswell , but not as much . ( How often do you see an successful 90iq guy , with insane willpower , etc ? Maybe you will get to see him as one of those rich guys , but he probably will not win the nobel price ) And the opposite , how often do you see a awkard , strange , closed 180iq guy that succeeds ? Quite often .

Im not saying iq is the most important factor of you "overall mind " by far , but it is , by a little atleast .

As Ive said though , this guy even realises and knows what he would do with power , yet he doesnt even try to get to a place of power . How irrational is that ? Why doesnt he atleast try ? I dont understand . There is nothing in his whole life he does . Either hes too lazy , or he's so insanely intelligent , that he sees no reason in it , in which case he could atleast be one of those new Socrates wannabees . With his iq , it should be easy to become a governator or something , yet he doesnt do it . He could maybe do some drastic change in bio chemistry , EVERYTHING and hes doing nothing , hes writing notes on what he would do if he had power , in a bar .

With his iq , he could ATLEAST try to cheat of to get some money , and then use the money in an appropriate way . But this guy does nothing , I dont understand .

Ill be quite happy if someone explains me his opinion on this .

Think about it logically.

To use an mma analogy, its like saying "anderson silva is so good on his feet, he must SUCK at the bjj"
Actually, it's not. It's usually pretty safe to assume that his Social IQ and bodily-kinesthetic IQ are lacking, or at the very least, not anywhere near his"academic" IQ. You know for a fact his bodily-kinesthetic IQ are nowhere NEAR a BJ Penn or A. Silva, nevermind just the average athlete. On the same level, you'd never expect someone like BJ Penn to hold the highest IQ. Therefore calling this guy "the smartest man in the world" is just retarded.
