1) Age. Making up for the time in a relationship, if they're young they're more likely to do this.
2) Dealing with loss. Trying to fill a void, insecurity, etc.

Honestly, while the dating rules are fucked, the fundamental similarities are still there.

Women like sex as much as men. They can still get hurt just like men and are just as likely to do crazy ass shit. Its not like men are all saints either. I did a lot of shit when I came back to AU I never thought I'd do in a million years but I did it all the same. Part and parcel of coping with loss, heartbroken and getting used to being single. Does it make me a bad person? I don't think so.

My issue is why do men judge women for digging the cock? You do realise that sluts make it easier for single guys to get laid? This is a behaviour that should be encouraged IMHO. Of course it makes it harder to find someone you'd date seriously but thats what makes the diamond in the rough that much more valuable.

You just have to let it go. After anyone breaks up they tend to party somewhat. Some people date like normal, others just go nuts. If your women are young they are going to go more nuts then it they are older. Some if this is likely perception on your part. You cared about the 3 to keep track of what they did after you broke up. What about the 20, likely they did the same thing but you never cared to follow up with them. There all gone now so focus on what mistakes you made and be a better boyfirend next time. Good Luck.
