You can say African Americans have less access to good schools or whatever you want. The fact is that by adulthood, enviromental factors have very little affect on intelligence. A heritability of .5 would imply IQ is substantially heritable. Studies on adults show heritability could be as high as 0.8. This would mean IQ is hereditary and based on genetics more than anything else. Anyway, this is not what my orginal post was about. The cause why African Americans have lower IQs is irrelevant. It's totally off the subject and it doesn't change the facts. The fact is that they do and it perpetuates the stereotype.
