I hate Vista. Didn't take me long to catch on to it but for some reason just plain don't like it.

I just got my MSDNAA account re-activated, so I'm thinking of formatting and putting Vista on my desktop. The current WinXP installation is all jacked up, and I can't find my disks.

To answer the title question, XP. I, however, will use Win2K forever (or at least until they stop making compatible programs).

I'm happy with XP, I don't see any need to upgrade to vista seeing how Windows 7 will be out in a few years.

Vista is not as bad as people make it out to be. That being said, I would take XP Professional over it any day of the week.

Unless you plan on buying games like Halo 2/3 for your computer, don't bother upgrading.

Okay so after reading through this thread......

I'm looking to buy a new custom built PC for gaming and am thinking about getting a quad core, should I get Vista over XP and if so which kind of Vista should I get?
