vista is simply too bloated for older computers to handle. Anyone upgrading their older computers is essentially downgrading it with vista. You need a fast computer to run vista. Vista has a very good media center, but other than that, a xp seems to move much faster.

The only reason I would use vista is for media center

Ordered my new DELL laptop a few days ago. It will come with Vista already installed on it. Well: Fuck DELL for that one.

I am seriously considering to deinstall Vista and install XP instead. I hope that shouldn't be a problem???

Also, anyone knows if cracks and stuff work on Vista or are there some devices installed that wont let your run a cracked application?

While I, myself, would never dream of using cracked applications, I can assure you that there are no devices installed that prevent you from using them.

I was pissed when I couldn't get XP on my Dell too, but honestly Vista isn't that bad.

Was just asking, you know, suddenly that meteorite thunders down on earth, panic breaks out, shops are closed, meanwhile I need to keep my pc running with the newest applications. One never knows.

Vista is way too glamorous!
I would be preferably happy if every damn application for my OS didn't have a picture for folder or application that I need to open. Plus the annoying security warning is unnecessary for someone such as myself that is confident in what I'm doing with my computer.

Windows Vista = A real Jenny Jones makeover

My girlfriend has Vista on her laptop and I don't like it at all. I find it is slow as hell (its a powerful laptop) and not real easy to use.
