Uh, I just went to YouTube and searched for "vista bug" and watched all of them on the first page and they're all either 1) irrelevant (minor temporary display bug, like an option on right-click appearing twice (probably the user's fault in the first place),
2) some multi-step process that the user intentionally goes through that no normal person would ever experience that serves no actual purpose but causes a problem, and again the bug is trivial at best (e.g. creating shortcut to an .exe on the desktop, going to the source, renaming the extension, then right-clicking to open / or just right-clicking, on the shortcut, and then saying "wow look it's hanging here for a long time it's a bug!" when all that happened is that the comp is hanging, trying to find an exe that no longer exists)
3) not even a bug, but a hardware conflict with some game that their computer can't even handle to begin with (look my guy automatically dies when i do this in this game, it's vista, not my connection or hardware!!!!); one guy was talking bugs whilst running an FPS on what appeared to be a 14.4 modem with aol v1
4) and the list goes on (look when I play this virus-laden file in media player and click play/pause like i'm having a seizure something strange happens guyz halp meh!! it's vista bug!!
Basically this is once again a propagandist's dream. It's VERY YOUNG AND SPITEFUL IDIOTS who treat this as a fad and have major-league herd mentalities and think it makes them cool to find some incredibly trivial bug or really anything that seems like a bug related to the OS and then tell everyone about it on the Internetz. Find me a real one that actually matters and that also exists on more than just YOUR (not you, in general I mean) machine, on all machines, and then I'll start caring.
I set up my dad's vista laptop and it works beautifully. He uses *gasp* the Internet, Outlook for his business, and complex drafting programs among other things and he has NO PROBLEMS. All problems I have seen thus far either aren't bugs in the first place / hardware related or user's idiocy-related / or extremely trivial and only exist on that one person's machine or in their imagination. Worst I've seen are the equivalent of a minor display bug in a computer game... give me a break.
The end. Computer geniuses please grow up, there is nothing worth talking about or addressing in any way wrong with Vista, more like your brain and your grasp on reality.
Sorry for the Engrish and scatterbrained formatting of this post, but I don't want to be here forever and this issue almost isn't worth the time.
And guy this really isn't an attack at you or you in particular, I just wanted to let it all out while I was still in the mood.
