The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle

Incredible book. Recommended by Genki Sudo of all people. If you plan on picking it up, make sure you have some free time. It is one of those books that you REALLY get into.

Indeed, I became hooked on Murakami after reading it. One of the most different books I have ever read. Everyt ime I have read the book(4 times) I get something different out of it. I would recommend reading "Kafka on the Shore" next.

Murakami's short stories are also great. I prefer them over his full length novels

My favourite of Murakami is 'Hard boiled wonderland and the end of the world'.

Both 'Sheep-books' are also very entertaining!

Sounds good! Are there any other great books like this out there that I am missing out on?

Like where a guy wakes up and finds himself in a strage place or different world.
