Wilmer Valderrama to star in a pilot for Fox

Fez from That 70's Show (aka Wilmer Valderrama) will star in a pilot for Fox.

"Fox has ordered a pilot for "The Emancipation of Ernesto," a one-hour project starring Valderrama as guileless innocent embarking on an epic quest to find his father amid a Los Angeles landscape polluted with excess. The story is said to be in the spirit of the classic Steve Martin comedy "The Jerk."

Personally, sounds lame, but I thought he was funny in 70's Show so I'll probably DVR it and check it out at some point.

I'm not going to hold my breath for this one. It will probably be cancelled before an entire season airs.

i can stand wilmer sver since i saw him on yo mama' the way he tries to talk street slang is just unbareable to watch...especially when he says "cawsh moe knee"

Yeah I hasnt seen him really since 70's show so I only have his work there to go off of. But you guys are saying he sucks now... still I'll DVR the first ep and check it out when it hits. Too bad for him.

I also thought Topher Grace was good (the best "kid" actor on that show for sure), but all I saw him in was Spiderman and then nada.
