Will there every be a playing as dominant as Wayne Gretzky in any sport?

We all know Wayne Gretzky is the most dominant player to ever play any sport in the history of the world. However, my question is, will there ever be anyone as dominant as he was? If so, what sport? Do you think any young players around today have what it takes when they hit the big leagues?

Federer is just as dominant in tennis, if not more. Tiger Woods would also be in the running for a dominant athlete.

Well that statement should really be applied to Michael Schumacher, as dominated the pants out of F1 for years.

To the point where seemingly rule changes were being made to slow him down, as tv ratings were going down since it was so boring to see him win every time.

Federer is up there too, we are witnessing a legend these days in him, the only thorn in his side is nadal, otherwise that guy is a machine.

Federer is only at a disadvantage to Nadal on clay courts.

Tennis is indeed a sport.

MMA, Tennis, American Football, Basketball, and Boxing are probably my top five sports to watch.

World Cup is fun to watch too!

actually we dont, there are plenty of non-hockey fans that just know that wayne gretzky was a good hockey player... and that is all... when someone thinks 'greatest player at what they played'... im gonna bet most people think michael jordan...
