I rarely like celebrity news. Even when bad and especially when bad, I dont care. I didnt care when Diana died and thought the whole hubub over her death was ridiculous. I found Anna Nicole Smith's death tragic, but didnt care. I might have watched one or two news clips about it, that's all.

But for some reason this Brittney Spears stuff has me extremely intrigued.

Larry King Live the other night had a panel of what would appear to be vain, gossipy types. The intriguing thing was, even the entertainment tabloid news people on there seemed genuine in their concern over this latest mess.

Dr. Drew Pinsky was on and made very good points about mental illness. They had a panel of a few judges and attorneys on there.

It shocked me that all of them seemed actually depressed themselves about this whole thing. One analyst went as far to say that sadly Brittney will probably end up dead in a year or two like Anna Nicole Smith.

It shocked me that in this day and age of vain garbage that the media churns out each and every day, slanted more and more secualarly.

This panel at least seemed genuine.

So what do you all think? Will Brittney end up like Anna Nicole?

I think that she is either (a)absolutely brilliant for keeping herself in the spotlight with as little talent she has for as long as she has or (b) she is in need of some serious help. I'm leaning towards (b).

I feel very sorry for her and for her family. All of them have to be hurting deeply.

It appears that the mom pushed Britney and her sister into that showbiz lifestyle. She got what she wanted, in a bad way.

It's really sad. Without the right people around her, she very well could end up like Anna Nicole Smith.

She is definitely on the path of her own destruction. If she can realize she is in real trouble she might change. If her behaviour continues I think she will meet her demise.

I predict the next step for Brittney is to gain 100 pounds.

Then she will make a comeback speech at an award show under the influence of some drugs, then die months later.

I give her 15 more years.
