Wii is not in the same terms as those two systems. Wii sucks.
I'm with this guy. From my experiences as a video game addict... the Xbox 360 is the best and I currently don't have a system because mine failed due to a glitch in the game Bully. I'm upset about it but I enjoyed it so much I just have my heart set on getting a new one. I played PS3 several times before deciding which to get but I kept feeling as if something was missing. I doubt Home will be able to truly fill the void either... it's like the Sims in the form of a game lobby, I get it.

The 360 has the best interface, the better games selection, in terms of exclusives, at least until MGS 4 becomes available and PS3 gains a bit of ground. Right now you can get Mass Effect, Gears of War, Fable 2, Bioshock, etc.

Ahhh, the age old question. I had the same decision about 4 months ago. I got the Wii but pretty much because of price and 2 small kids in the house. For Wii I will say this. The quantity sucks but the quality is awesome in the few good games there are. It makes thing frustrating. I am hoping some developers will catch on. If you don't have kids I would get a PS3 and then get a Wii later. I think the we is a must have but maybe not as a primary system.

I own an xbox 360, the games available for the xbox360 (in my opinion) are the best at the moment. I wouldn't buy the Wii, because like you mentioned, after the novelty wears off the games just aren't very complicated. If PS3 was cheaper at the time I bought my xbox 360, I would have definitely bought the PS3. I owned a PS1 and loved it. I owned and xbox that was pretty cool, until the dvd rom went bad.

Before making your decision, you should check out xbox 360's reliability. I've read stories on Yahoo that say that xbox 360 failure rates are at about 30%, while Wii and PS3 are at 1%. My 360 is still going strong after a year, but if I would have seen those stats before I bought it, I think I would have paid a hundred bucks more for the PS3. Definitely do your research on reliability.

I really like the Wii, but i'm a bit of a Nintendo buff and can't pass on the likes of Twilight Princess, Galaxy, SSBM, etc. I obviously like to have one of the other two, but for the time being, I don't mind waiting a half year and getting good games like Gears and Bioshock on my pc... often for free too.... yarggh!

I went with ps3 im not sorry about my choice i like both....and if someone else in your family has a ps3....well then if they are online you can play them..trading games...so the family thing i mean i dont think thats a reason not to get one

I hold the wii in an entirely different class then the ps3 and xbox360....not better or worse just like a different genre...i wouldnt want to own JUST a wii, but if i had one with my ps3 that would be nice
