That's kind of like that documentary "Devils Playground" that follows the amish kids that indulge in modern day life before they choose whether to be amish or not. I recommend it, very interesting.

I dvr'd this earlier but I haven't watched it yet. I can't imagine growing up Amish, then experiencing the "real world", and then going back to being Amish.

Are there any Amish people here that wish to comment on why they went back? Oh wait... nevermind.

I seen a family of Amish roll up in a minivan I was like uhhhh what . I guess Minivans are ok for trips and whatnot

There are different "flavors" of Amish, they allow varying amounts of technology.

I remeber one time at pizza hut I seen a group of them walk in not sure if it they were Amish but the guys wore blue jeans and a plain white t-shirt tucked in they also had on tennis shoes but the women just wore the traditional dress but with tennis shoes.

I was at a construction equipment auction in Farm country. There were some Amish or Mennonites there.
