Where's the philos-guy's Essay Thread?

Hey all..

Someone started a thread the other day doing a comparitive essay on Eastern religions... was preparing to choose his topic but now the THREAD IS GONE

Was getting interesting, how did it vanish? (yes I tried search function)

I too was looking for that thread earlier tonight because I posted a response this afternoon (or morning?) and wanted to see where the discussion had gone since then.

Your assignment sounds very interesting Brat, and do you think it would be possible to send a copy my way after you finish it? I would like to see a comparison East-West and I could probably learn a few things about whichever Eastern religion you choose.

it is not an assignment, it is the degree that is tailored this way. i have to take Western and Eastern philosophies in order to get the degree.

oooooo, then I grossly missunderstood.

Which Eastern system are you leaning towards then? Did you catch my previous comments in the lost thread? Maybe some of it still applie, maybe not.

yes, i got them. i dont have much interest in hindu. i am thinking of doing buddhism, as i have already got some aquaintance with their line of thought.
