Whats the point of hating any music artist?
Just seems like a waste of time to me. If you see a music artist you don't like or overexposed on television, whats the point in hating them? You don't have to listen to them. You can just change the channel. Seems very silly caring enough to hate a music artist. Its not like the music artist is making making you hate them, you're making yourself worry about it. The only time I'd try to bash a music artist is if its a rival band of mine and I gotta tell everybody about how my band is so much better. heh. But, some random artist on tv that nobody told you to care about, don't really see the point in hating them....

I couldn't agree more.
You can't blame an artist whose songs are broadcasted ad nauseam eternam, because *you* watch too much TV or listen too much radio, or call them bitches because *you* have no sexual life.

They (awful musicians/performers) can sometimes act as a painful reminder at how talentlessness is a virtue these days and how money drives art and little else, thus making one annoyed to see them doing their thing on tv/radio. It is petty, but emotions arent rational, and Ill admit I do get annoyed sometimes when I see very ordinary talents being lauded as great revolutionary artists/talents and what not.

I hate them because the hinder real talent from coming thru, long gone are the days when the best sellers were the innovative bnads/artists that developed music as we know it. No way in hell will N'Sync be praized in 30 years like the Beatles or Bob Dylan

Alright, I understand where you're coming from. If you say it annoys you, I understand. But, it just seems really petty. Why would anybody actually ever really care about whats being played on television or who sells records? Has nothing to do with us.

The only time I "hated" a music artist in recent history is when I worked at a department store, and they played Ashley Simpson's Pieces of You every five minutes. If you listen closely, that bitch sounds like she's vomiting at the beginning of the chorus. After a while I literally felt like vomiting myself. It's not the overall quality of the music that makes me want to vomit, it's literally that feeling you get when you watch some drunken friend vomiting his stomach juices out and feel like vomiting by association. Hell I feel nauseated just thinking about it.

I have every reason to hate some artists, I think right now the music industry is at an all time low, money is drive rather than the passion for music. 90% of the shit I hear on the radio now is pure shit that doesn't last more than a few weeks and people pump these tunes that really have no life, the songs don't last they're merely a marketing ploy which takes advantage of the current state of the music industry.
The recent influx of new genres such as Electro house is disgusting, it's not even music, atleast not music with substance. It makes me angry when these so called artists take old classic songs and remix then(in other words butcher them) and then have them purposely released under their name, completely mislabelled and disgusting.

To do a cover justice you need to have a strong character or persona to begin with
hence Hurt by Johnny Cash is a masterpiece and I love Rock n Roll by Britney is a disgrace
