What are you majoring in and why

Curious about what you guys and gals who are in college are majoring in.

Major - I'm a film production major with emphasis in directing.

Why - I enjoy the collaborative process while on set and feel as though I have both the talent and the brains to make an impact. Plus, it is hella fun.

Classics, focusing on Latin and Roman history

Thinking I might change thought, for althought I do love the subject, actually studying it academically is killing my interest.

Majoring in Accounting, i always found myself good with numbers and apparently they make alot of money and a Minor in Sociology because it always interested me

PoliSci/Social Policy for the purpose of remaining interested enough to actually graduate traditionally from college; I dropped out of high school because of distaste for the academic and social environment.

After graduating from HS I didn't know what to do so I went to tech school to learn how to work on cars.

I've been doing that for the past eight years and hated every minute of it.

So I went back to school a few years ago and have three semesters to go before I get my degree in Magazine Journalism.

I love it. I've done four internships and wrote for a couple of college's newspapers.

The only reason I decided to get into it was because I picked up reading as a hobby about five years ago, mostly non-fiction. So I decided to start writing something autobiographical for the hell of it and it turned into a 55,000 word ordeal. At that point I knew writing was for me.
