I used to have really long hair (like, mid back length) for a while, then a few months ago I shaved my head because long hair was starting to annoy me in daily life and in training especially.

I was in that same boat. My hair is thick, wavy, and dark, and I wore it long, anywhere from shoulder length to mid back for damn near a decade. After a while, it became so damn annoying, like a freaking mop on your head, so I ended up shaving it all off a tad over a year ago. Donated it to that Locks of Love things so they could make wigs out of it. Now I keep it short, and am loving it.
