"WAR" is a term invented by Dana White used to describe an epic battle between two skilled warriors, originally used in the legendary Griffin vs. Bonnar fight.

Saying "WAR" is an homage to that fight and TUF creator Dana White.

"WAR" along with "Octagon" is trademarked and the rights are owned by Zuffa.
